Shannon’s Story

Shannon began her yoga journey in 2017 when she wanted to stop going out every night and partying. She thought yoga felt good in the body but wasn’t completely hooked until she went through a dark period in her life. She leaned into yoga, took multiple classes a day, read ancient texts, and took a deep dive into her own mind, body, and spirit. It’s completely transformed her life into what feels like an ever changing mandala of beauty. Shannon sought her 200 hour teacher training in Thailand, March 2022, where she studied Eastern philosophies with international teachers. She is passionate about sharing the practice that saved her.

Shannon loves to travel the world, in search of adventure, yogic practices, and connection to spirit. She has experienced many hats ranging from white water raft guide to wilderness therapy guide. In all aspects, she is a guide at heart; for her spirit and others.

Yoga is more than a practice for Shannon- it’s a way of life. To incorporate patience, trust, and love into every aspect of her life all comes from her commitment to her practice on the mat. How we do anything is how we do everything. How we practice on the mat is how we practice life off of the mat.

Shannon equally values the body, mind, energy, emotions, and spirit into each of her teachings and practices. She has cultivated discipline, compassion, and evolutionary change within herself through these practices. Shannon is driven from the heart to teach other’s how to gain mastery of their lives.
